Editor, terminal and specs: tools that stay next to your agents
You don’t need another app to look at a file an agent changed, run a command or read the plan it wrote. The Files and Specs tabs in the right panel and the terminal dock at the bottom are there for that.
File viewer and editor
The Files tab in the right panel shows the project tree; click a file and a CodeMirror editor opens in a large window. Colours follow the light and dark theme.
- Syntax highlighting: JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, CSS (SCSS, Less), HTML (Vue, Svelte), Markdown, Python, Rust, YAML and SQL.
- Save with ⌘S and search the file with ⌘F; closing with unsaved changes asks first.
- Markdown files open in preview and switch to editing with Düzenle.
- From the Changes tab, the diff between HEAD and the working tree shows unified or side by side.
- Create a new file or folder from the Files tab, and filter open folders by file name.
- Send a selection or a single line to an agent with ⌘⇧L, along with the file path and line range.
Terminal dock
A panel of plain shells under your agents. Ctrl+` opens and closes it, and the shortcut can be changed; terminals keep running when the dock is hidden or you switch pages.
- Multiple tabs: Terminal 1, Terminal 2…; middle-click closes a tab.
- Caught errors get a Düzelt (fix) badge; clicking it sends the error to an agent with a request to fix it.
- ⌘⇧L sends the selection, or the recent output if nothing is selected, to an agent.
- Font size is set in Settings → Görünüm (appearance), from 10 to 20 px; the default is 13 px.
The Specs tab
Specs, plans and notes written by agents end up scattered across the repo. The Spec’ler tab in the right panel lists the repo’s Markdown files, most recently changed first, and refreshes every 15 seconds while it’s open.
- Up to 400 files, down to 8 folders deep; node_modules, dist and hidden folders are skipped.
- Spec: specs, prd, requirements, rfc, adr or design folders and file names with spec, prd, rfc or design. Plan: plans, roadmap, tasks, todo. Everything else is a document.
- The title comes from the file’s first heading; search by title or path.
- Uncommitted .md files in other worktrees show with a branch chip; open one and you edit and save it in that worktree.
- In multi-repo projects, the Depo selector switches between repos.
Questions
Which languages does the editor highlight?
JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, CSS, SCSS, Less, HTML, Vue, Svelte, Markdown, Python, Rust, YAML and SQL. Other text files open without highlighting.
Do terminals close when I hide the dock?
No. Hiding the dock doesn’t stop them; closing a tab or typing exit does.
Does the Specs tab only show files agents wrote?
It shows every Markdown file in the repo and sorts them into specs, plans and documents. New, uncommitted files agents wrote in other worktrees are included too.
Can I open images?
No. The editor opens UTF-8 text files only.
