A desktop app for opencode
AgentVera opens opencode in a real terminal and lets you use any provider connected to it: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter, local models and the free OpenCode Zen models. Every agent works in its own opencode session.
opencode in AgentVera
- Command
opencode- Install
curl -fsSL https://opencode.ai/install | bash- Sign-in
- Provider sign-in happens in opencode itself: /connect in the agent’s terminal or opencode auth login.
- Model
- The model list comes from opencode models --verbose, grouped by provider and cached for 10 minutes.
- Effort
- Each model’s own variants are shown as effort options.
- Role
- The role is added to opencode as an instructions file, written with permissions only you can read.
- Session resume
- Each agent starts in its own opencode session (--session ses_…). The session is created ahead of time by a short-lived opencode serve that only listens on 127.0.0.1; duplicating forks it the same way.
- MCP and browser
- The role, MCP servers and AgentVera browser travel as inline config and are merged with your own opencode.json.
What every agent gets
Side-by-side panes
The agent opens in the same grid as the project’s other agents; the layout is remembered per project.
Flows
When the agent finishes a turn, its reply goes through a template to another agent; turn limits stop loops.
Automatic code review
When a turn ends, the code it wrote is reviewed by the Claude model you pick, with findings linked to file:line.
Telegram notifications
Finished turns, errors and flows waiting for approval reach your phone; reply to message the agent.
Queue and broadcast
Queue a message while the agent is busy, or send one message to the agents you pick.
Picks up where it left off
An agent that has received a message returns to its conversation when the app reopens.
Questions
Can I use local models with opencode?
Yes. Every provider you connect to opencode, local models included, shows up in the model list.
Will my own opencode.json be changed?
No. AgentVera’s settings are merged with your file at launch; the file itself isn’t modified.
