# Mobile app

The AgentVera mobile app for iOS and Android connects to AgentVera on your computer. The agents keep running on your computer; from your phone you chat with them, answer their permission requests, watch their terminal and changes, and start new ones. No open ports, no VPN.

**The Agents tab.** Every agent on your desktop shows up, grouped by project. Search for an agent, or switch between All and Pending to bring the ones waiting for approval to the top.

- New agent: computer, project, agent kind, first message, model, effort, account, role and, if you like, its own worktree.
- Broadcast: send the same message to several agents at once.
- Interrupt, stop or resume an agent, or move it to another account.

**Inside an agent: Chat, Terminal, Changes.** Every agent has three tabs.

- Chat: write a message, attach up to 10 files per message (50 MB each), take a photo, or dictate up to 60 seconds. The audio is transcribed on your computer.
- Terminal: watch the agent’s real terminal live and, if you allowed it, type with special keys (Esc, Tab, arrows, Ctrl C, Enter).
- Changes: the files the agent changed, with a colored diff.
- Undo and checkpoints: roll back a turn to an earlier point.

**Approvals and notifications.** When an agent asks for permission you get a push notification; answer with Approve or Deny and the agent carries on on your computer.

- Notifications: approval requests, finished turns, failures, task reminders and usage limits past 90%.
- Notifications carry no code and no message text.
- Pick which notifications you want in the app’s settings.

**The More tab.** Most of the desktop’s tools are on the phone too.

- Tasks, Night shift, Automations, History and Limits.
- Git and Docker: commit, pull, push and start or stop containers, if you allowed it on the desktop.
- Reviews, Stats and Team.
- SSH: connect to the servers in your end-to-end encrypted vault and upload files over SFTP.
- The team kanban on the Boards tab (Pro and Team plans): cards, labels, comments and sending a card straight to an agent.

**Connection and security.** The desktop app keeps an outbound connection to the AgentVera server open, and your phone reaches your computer through it. Conversations, terminal output and diffs pass through the server but are not stored there.

- Control from your phone is off by default on the desktop; you turn it on.
- Typing into the terminal, Git actions and Docker actions each have their own permission.
- See your connected phones on the desktop and remove any you no longer use.
- The app can lock with Face ID or a fingerprint when it opens.
- If your computer is off, the app says so and shows the last known state.

**Setting it up:**

1. Sign in to your AgentVera account in the desktop app (Settings → Account).
2. In Settings → Phone, turn on Control from your phone. Turn on Allow typing into the terminal, Git actions from the phone and Docker actions from the phone if you want them.
3. Install the AgentVera mobile app and sign in with the same account: Google, Apple (iOS) or e-mail and password.
4. Allow notifications; your agents appear on the Agents tab.

- **Which phones does the AgentVera mobile app run on?** iOS and Android. The app is available in English and Turkish.
- **Do the agents run on my phone?** No. They run on your computer, in the AgentVera desktop app. The phone sends messages and commands and shows the results, so the desktop app has to be running.
- **Do I need a paid plan?** No. Running your agents from your phone works on every plan. A few screens belong to paid plans: the night shift and the team kanban to Pro and Team, live team status to Team.
- **Is my code stored on the server?** No. Conversations, terminal output and diffs pass through the AgentVera server but are not stored. Notifications carry no code or message text either.
- **How is it different from Telegram?** Telegram is good for quick replies: notifications, one-tap approvals and short commands. The mobile app adds the agent’s terminal and changes, attachments, starting new agents and the tools on the More tab.
- **How is it different from the phone view in the browser?** app.agentvera.dev/agents shows status, approvals and finished work in the browser with nothing to install. The mobile app gives you full control: chatting with agents, a live terminal, push notifications and starting agents.
