AgentGrid, from AgentGrid, Inc., is a desktop app that puts coding agents on an infinite canvas next to terminals, browsers with DevTools, notes and source control. A coordinator conversation starts and steers team leads, which plan the work and hand it to workers such as a builder, a reviewer and QA, each running the agent and model you pick. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, with iPhone and Android apps in beta, and has a free plan and a Pro plan at $16 a month billed yearly. AgentVera runs agent CLIs in real terminals side by side, and adds flows, acceptance checks and team tools. Below is how they differ and where AgentGrid is the better fit.

| Feature | AgentGrid | AgentVera |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Platforms | macOS 12 or later, Windows 10 or 11 and Linux (Ubuntu 20.04+, Debian 11+), each with native x64 and Arm builds; iPhone and Android apps in beta; a headless CLI host for macOS and Linux. | macOS, Windows and Linux desktop app. |
| Supported agents | Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity, Cursor, Devin, Grok, Hermes, Kimi, Pi and Muse Code, with your own subscriptions and API keys. | 18 CLI coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot, Cursor Agent, opencode, Amp and Aider, plus plain terminals. Each uses its own CLI install and login. |
| Open source / license | Closed source; we found no published source code. | Closed source. |
| Pricing model | Free plan; Pro $192 a year ($16 a month billed yearly), which adds several accounts per agent, auto-switching at usage limits and usage history. | Free plan with unlimited agents; Pro and Team plans are paid. |
| Git worktrees | A Source Control pane shows each agent’s worktrees, diffs, commits and pull requests, and a built-in /worktree skill is available in every project. | Yes. Create a worktree per task from the Git panel and start an agent in it; night-shift tasks get their own worktree. You are warned when two agents edit the same file. |
| Kanban | Not confirmed on their own pages | Team kanban shared across your organization; hand a card to Claude, Codex or another agent and the reply lands on the card (Pro and Team). |
| Flows and pipelines between agents | A coordinator starts team leads, which plan and hand tasks to builder, reviewer, QA and security workers in parallel; built-in skills take a change from issue to merged pull request. | Flows pass one agent’s output to the next; a team view of open agents led by a manager; a parallel team that ends in one PR; staged task line; night shift (Pro and Team). |
| Acceptance checks | Not confirmed on their own pages | Verify extracts acceptance criteria from your request and a separate read-only verifier checks each one after the agent’s turn; automatic code review. |
| Database manager / SSH | Not confirmed on their own pages | Database manager for PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB and SQLite (Pro and Team); SSH/SFTP panel; agent SSH and database access with your rules. |
| Token savings | Usage history and limits over time, estimated plan capacity, and auto-switch to another account or model when usage runs out (Pro). | Context profiles, automatic /compact, bundled RTK output compression, automatic per-task model routing and a project map (code graph) for agents. |
| Team features | Collaboration is listed as planned for Pro, not yet available. | Organizations, team kanban, client boards, AgentVera Runner on your own server, automatic account switching. |

**When to pick AgentGrid:**

- You like a spatial canvas where agents, terminals, browsers and notes sit side by side and come back after a restart.
- You want a coordinator and team leads that split work across builder, reviewer, QA and security workers on different agents and models.
- You use an Arm machine on Windows or Linux; AgentGrid ships native Arm builds on every platform.
- You use Devin, Grok or Pi alongside Claude Code and Codex.

**When to pick AgentVera:**

- You want 18 CLIs (from Gemini CLI and Copilot to Amp and Aider) in real terminals, in a grid per project.
- You want flows that pass one agent’s output to the next, a parallel team that ends in one PR, and night shift.
- You want acceptance checks (Verify) after each turn, automatic code review and a warning when two agents edit the same file.
- You want team features today: organizations, a shared team kanban, client boards, a database manager and an SSH/SFTP panel.

**Moving from AgentGrid to AgentVera:**

1. Download AgentVera and open the project folders your AgentGrid spaces use.
2. Add Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent or opencode. AgentVera starts the CLIs you already installed, so your logins and subscriptions carry over.
3. Worktrees from AgentGrid are ordinary git worktrees: open them from the Git panel, or merge them first.
4. Rebuild team-lead and worker setups as flows or the team view, and turn on automatic account switching for agents that hit a limit.

- **Is AgentGrid free?** It has a free plan. Pro costs $192 a year ($16 a month billed yearly) and adds several accounts per agent, auto-switching at usage limits and usage history. AgentVera has a free plan with unlimited agents; Pro and Team are paid.
- **Does AgentGrid run on Windows?** Yes. AgentGrid has Windows 10 and 11 installers for x64 and Arm. AgentVera also runs natively on Windows, with an x64 installer.
- **Does AgentGrid have a mobile app?** Yes, iPhone and Android apps in beta, as a companion to the desktop app. AgentVera also has an iOS and Android app that connects to the AgentVera on your computer.
- **Is AgentVera open source?** No. AgentVera is a closed-source desktop app with a free plan. We found no published source code for AgentGrid either.
- **Can I use AgentGrid and AgentVera on the same repository?** Yes. Both work on plain git branches and worktrees, so you can try AgentVera without changing your AgentGrid setup.
